A Mother’s Day PRESENT for YOU!!
A Little Mother’s Day present for YOU!!
Here at The Yellow Bench we like a reason to celebrate and we LOVE presents.
So, to help you all celebrate Mother’s Day this year, we have a present for you- The Yellow Bench Rainbow ecookbook!!
The Rainbow ecookbook is all about showing you a FUN way you can get more variety into your family meals.
By using the colours of the rainbow!
Let’s face it; colourful and vibrant looking food is more aesthetically pleasing to our eyes.
With little (& sometimes big!) fussy eaters around that can look at a meal and screw up their nose without taking a bite, those first impressions of a meal can really make a difference.
Most importantly, different coloured foods are rich in different nutrients, vitamins and minerals. And, by eating the colours of the rainbow you can ensure you and your family are getting a wide variety of nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
All things we need to help keep our bodies healthy, thriving and fight diseases.
We all know that red meat is a good source of iron, which helps our muscles use oxygen amongst other things.
BUT, did you know that cranberries contain the phytonutrient proanthocyanidins?
And, what is so good about proanthocyanidins?
They prevent bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract walls, hence assisting the body in preventing urinary tract infections (Mann, D. 2008). Something that the little people can be prone to when they are toilet training!
Or, did you know that it is the phytonutrient beta-carotene that gives orange and yellow foods their colouring?
Beta-carotene has antioxidant properties, which enables it to reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, AND support healthy eyes.
We must digress before we give you all our Rainbow ecookbook secrets away.
To enjoy the Rainbow ecookbook, sign up for our FREE email updates and you will receive the Rainbow eCookbook download link!!
Happy Mother’s Day to all our lovely readers who are Mums!!
We hope you enjoy your present!!

ps. We would love for you to share our Rainbow ecookbook as a present to any mother (or father) you may know.
